Week 38 overview

The week started Tuesday with Bolton winning 2-1 at desparate looking Aston Villa.

Then Saturday Everton hammered Fulham 4-0, Stoke and Arsenal drew 1-1, and Bolton got a point at The Stadium of Light.

In a terrific match at Swansea, Wolves finally showed some fight coming back to draw 4-4. WBA and Villa was goalless and Wigan had a magnificent win at home to the Geordies 4-0.  Liverpool won 3-0 at an increasingly tired looking Norwich.

On the big stage on Sunday QPR fell over badly as Chelsea smashed them 6-1. Torres got a hat trick and even John Terry scored to rub the R's noses in it. Then later Spurs beat relegation threatened Blackburn 2-0.

Then in the BIG ONE on Monday, City beat United 1-0 thanks to a Kompany headed goal just before half-time.
