What a shambles the FA Cup Semi Final was between Chelsea and Spurs.
Now there is no denying that the Blues were the better team but if ever that decision to give a goal when the ball never even reached the line let alone crossed it, doesn't scream out for TV replays, then I don't know what does.
In fact it was a foul by Terry on the defenders in the first place, which if the referee gave that, it would have saved him the embarrassment of missing the goal line deception.
And as for that prick John Terry saying it didn't cross the line, then why was he in the ref's face and celebrating when he allowed it?
Also, what is the rule with denying a goal scoring opportunity? Cech should have been sent off, even though Bale scored.
Anyway, rant over but a few seconds to make the most crucial decisions right ain't going to hurt anyone. With middle aged officials in a very fast moving game technology is a must.
Oh and I won't even mention Ashley Young.
