In the Premier League Wigan and WBA shared the spoils 1-1, Swansea went to the Cottage and won 3-1 and Newcastle kept up their surge with a 1-0 home in over the Canaries. Man U gave Wolves a lesson 5-0 away.
In the FA Cup Quarter Finals Everton and Sunderland drew 1-1 and sadly the Tottenham game at home to Bolton was abandoned. Chelsea put 5 past Leicester and Liverpool beat Stoke 2-1.
