Playing a bit of catch up. Week 23 was the final weekend of January. It was a midweek programme and on Tuesday Man U hammered 5 at WBA, Spurs beat Stoke in a much needed victory, Defoe, Dawson and Lennon scoring, Villa left Fratton Park with a 1-0 win and Sunderland beat Fulham 1-0.
On Wednesday Blackburn and Bolton drew 2-2 in the Lancashire derby, Kalou scored twice for Chelsea in their home win over struggling Boro, Van Persie left it late as Arsenal drew 1-1 at Everton, Wigan and Liverpool shared the spoils at the JJB and West Ham beat Hull at the Boleyn.
