Arsenal won at battling Blackpool on Sunday 3-1, van Persie shining and scoring whilst Villa got a vital win over Newcastle. On Monday a blistering Liverpool stuffed an uninterested Man City 3-0. Carroll scoring twice plus Kuyt.
