Tilbury fell to 10-man Romford in the FA Cup Preliminary Round on Saturday 2-0. Lee Pyne scoring both goals. Tilbury play in the Isthmian Division One North, a higher level than Romford but 102 fans saw our Road to Wembley boys through to play Biggleswade Town in the 1st Qualifying Round on September 16th.
A bit of trivia about our boys: Romford was the team that originally produced England internationals Darius Vassell and Zat Knight.
