Hull City after missing the chance to grab the secons automatic promotion place to the Premiership after conceding a last minute penalty to already promoted Cardiff, then had to wait 15 minutes for Watford's game at home to Leeds to finish.
A win for Watford would see them promoted but an injury to their goalkeeper meant the game had a long delay despite the Football League's efforts for games to finish at the same time.
Watford were drawing 1-1 and piling the pressure on but a breakaway goal and a mistake by Watford's 2nd reserve young 'keeper meant Leeds won the last minute.
200 miles away Hull fans celebrated as 20,000 odd fans stayed behind to wait for the whistle to blow at Vicarage Road. Steve Bruce's Hull go up whilst Watford go into the play-off's.
