A first win for Southampton, but they have had a very tough start. The media focus then turned on Villa, who are a shadow of the club they once were. Lambert may have gone to a bigger club but may have a bigger relegation battle at Villa Park than Carrow Road this season.
All the focus was at Anfield and Liverpool played well but a late dodgy penalty gave United all 3 points.
