Ian Kennett may regret taking his son to his first ever football match. He was one of the 26,000 that were at The Valley to see a 2-0 win over Stevenage recently.
By all accounts Kennett Junior had a fantastic time (see photo), 4 coach loads from Ian's Rugby Club went (no wonder when its £12 a pop including the match ticket) and to get in to the local Isthmian League Division One South Folkestone Invicta is £8!!
They sat in the East Stand in glorious sunshine 7 rows back in line with the penalty box near the away end.
It was a comfortable win for the Addicks and jumbo sausages at half time all round. Ian, I assume enjoyed a watered down beer at the break.
Bradley Wright Phillips (is better than Shaun) should have had 5 but scored one, but Michael Morrison's screamer of a first goal was a cracking first ever live goal for Ian's lad to see. Even funnier was Ian's bro' was out getting the teas in and missed it!
Charlton thoroughly deserved the win and it was a great day out and sadly may not be the last time we go .......although pre match music was ok....
Cheers
Ian

Its a wonderful experience of this game. I would also like to go for it next time. I also really want to enjoy just like you. I would be here again to share my own experience there...
