What's in a team name

No.3 Ted Striker XI - Alan Oakley
Oakers has had some great team names over the years and this year's ditty comes from Al's favourite film, Airplane.

There is an obvious footie connection too, Al reminded me when I asked him of loads of gratuitous visual and verbal jokes with blow up dolls, sh*t hitting the fan, smoking tickets, the Hanging Lady etc etc. I can see him laughing now as he is reading this.

Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?

Ted Striker: I can't tell you that. It's classified.
