Week 2 review

Roberto Martinez went back to Swansea with Wigan and collected a point in a 0-0 draw. A Ryan Taylor winner gave the Toon first bragging rights of the season over neighbours Sunderland at the SoL.

In the shock of the day Tommy Smith gave Rangers a superb win over lackluster Everton at Goodison. Malouda sealed a Chelsea win over WBA, who were winning at the break.

Two late Liverpool goals put more pressure on Arsene, Villa beat Blackburn well 3-1 and Wolves won well at home to Fulham. Norwich held on for a point at home to Stoke despite taking the lead and Man City beat Bolton in a 5-goal thriller at the Reebok.

And Man U fielded their under 12's and still beat Spurs 3-0 at the OT.
