Week 7 review

In one of the turn ups of the season so far West Brom beat Arsenal more comfortably than the 3-2 scoreline suggests at The Emirates. In the game of the weekend Man City put pay to Chelsea's unbeaten record 1-0. Tevez scoring.

An equal shock was the Hammers beating rivals Spurs 1-0 thanks to a goal from Piquionne. Darren Bent's two goals gave the Mackems a point a relegation fodder Liverpool. Blackpool battled back to to level with Blackburn, but then in injury time Brett Emerton grabbed the winner.

Fulham and Everton and Birmingham and Wigan both played out goalless draws.

On the Sunday Man U failed to take advantage of Chelsea and Arsenal's slip ups and drew 2-2 at Bolton. Stoke won at Newcastle and in the Midlands derby Heskey got Villa's winner at Molineux.
