We split the league in week 21 to keep it interesting and put anyone around middling age (plus Ready and Nobby) to old fart status into an Oldies Qualifying Group and every man and woman a bit wet behind the ears but with large libido's we stuck into a Young 'Un's Qualifying league.
The top 13 from each group at week 33 qualified for the N&R Champions League, and the others dropped into the losers plate, that we kindly bigged up to call the N&R Europa League.
The net result was that in the Oldies despite Glenn's Lamb to the slaughter leading the Oldies for most of the mini-season, it was Ready's Hannoi Utd who snatched the top place and
the £25 prize, with Mark's Vodka Hooligan missing out by just one point and three points points further back was John's Loads of Roubles with Lamb to the slaughter ending in 4th.
In the Young Un's group Tim and Dennis' Frank & Beans edging out Kirsty's Glasgow Kiss giving the Americans the $40 pot. Gooner win league finished 3rd with the consistent Tanus Terriers in 4th.
