Week 37 review

Wednesday 21st April
Hull pretty much waved goodbye to the Premier League when Villa beat them 2-0 at the KC.
Agbonlahor and Milner got the Villians goals.

Saturday 24th April
At the bottom it was D Day for West Ham but they overcame Wigan 3-2, despite going behind to a Spector o.g. Ilan scored the equaliser before Kovac scored a 2nd five minutes to injury time to send Upton Park into raptures. But then Wigan who looked good going forward all game scored again through Rodallega but the immense Scott Parker scored a cracking 3rd to keep the happy Hammers up.

Hull meanwhile under Iain Dowie went one down to Sunderland. Darren Bent scoring his 24th Premier League goal of the season. And Hull knew no way back and were effectively relegated due to their goal difference.

Wolves stayed up with a 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn. Well done Mick McCarthy. Bolton did likewise, when before Owen Coyle showed up it looked gloomy for Wanderers. Bolton drew 2-2 with already relegated Pompey.

At the top United beat Spurs 3-1, Giggs scoring two and Arsenal and City played out a boring 0-0 draw.

Sunday 25th April
Liverpool sent Burnley down with a 4-0 defeat at Turf Moor. Blimey Burnley must be bad. Milner scored a very dodgy penalty in the West Midlands derby, Everton beat the unfortunate Fulham 2-1 thanks to a very late Arteta goal and Chelsea stuffed Stoke 7-0. Kalou (3), Lampard (2), Sturridge and Malouda the scorers. Anyone see Malouda's miss by the way?
