Week 35 review

Saturday April 10th
Just two league games on the Saturday. Hull were abysmal at home to Burnley, who had not win away all season. But they beat Dowie's dullards 4-1 after being a goal down. Paterson, Alexander (2) and a free kick from Elliott did the damage.

Then Ilan got the Hammers' vital winner over Sunderland

Sunday April 11th
Man City thrashed the previously irresitable Birmingham 5-1 with two from Tevez and Adebayor plus one from Onuoha.

Then by contrast there were 3 0-0's. Blackburn v United, Woves v Stoke and Liverpool v Fulham.

FA Cup
In the Cup there were wins for Chelsea over Villa, although 3-0 did not tell the story of a tight game and Portsmouth surprisingly beat Tottenham 2-0. Harry was a happy man as he had Pompey in extra time at 8/1.
