Portsmouth's debts £119m

Being a saddo I looked through the administrators report to creditors for Portsmouth Football Club. The debts range from £1 to £38m which is owed to former owners while more than £9m is due to 15 agents.

Players such as Muntari, Sol Campbell and Niko Kranjcar are owed for image rights and others such as David James for bonuses. Watford, Spurs, Lyon, Lens and West Brom are all owed money for transfers.

However searching through the long, sad list of trade creditors, amongst the doctors, sports shops, schools, dry cleaners and local contractors were two names that stood out:

Aon 8 Devonshire Square, London $154,934.57
SBJ Stephenson (BLUEFIN) New Malden, Surrey £20,700.09

Incredible. In fact on that long, long list Aon are one of the biggest creditors as are kit manufacturer Canterbury, who are owed £1.9m. They will all be lucky to get 10 pence on the pound. Let's hope Man U don't fuck Aon over so royally.
