Frank & Beans in pole position with 6 exciting weeks to go

Breaking news8888888The N&R Champions League Week 34
So here we are the 26 best managers fighting it out for the 2009/10 N&R FL title. And early indications are that the coveted trophy may end up going stateside for the first time in the N&R FL’s 14 year history.

Feldbruegge and Malloy’s Frank & Beans sit pretty on top with 6 weeks left, 23 points ahead of Kirsty’s Glasgow Kiss and 39 in front of Ready’s Hannoi Utd. In 4th is Vodka Hooligan with 5th John McGowan’s Load of Roubles and 6th current champions Gooner win league. All six of these managers could lift the trophy come the middle of May.

Behind the top six and still with a great shout of silverware and prize money is another American Steve Black and his Guinness & eggs. In 8th are Lamb to the slaughter, who have lost their way in recent weeks, 9th is Boys on Tour and 10th Tanus Terriers, who have spent the whole season challenging at the top of the table(s).

Realistically behind these teams, managers are probably left to concentrate on the prize money (see other post). In Tatters, Old Bodeanians and Paris Eagles lead a host of teams that have fantastic chances to win money.

Lower down the N&R Champions League table Gunner Bag It, Ben’s Special Ones, Bermuda Addicks, Student Ninjas and Morgan’s Machines will all be hoping to put a run together by utilizing any unused transfers.

There is also a cash prize for the Penultimate Place and Davor’s W Wallace Boys, an early league leader, currently occupy the prized 25th position.
