Cheer up Alan Shearer, oh, what can it mean....As a team that still proudly displays the name of Northern Rock on it's shirts fully 18 months after it failed, perhaps their Newcastle's fate was already effectively sealed. As twin tales of gross mismanagement, they'd be extremely hard to beat.
