Arsenal dropped two more points at home to Sunderland, whilst Gus Hiddink watched Chelsea beat Villa away in the weekend's big game. Gary Megson helped earn a new contract as Bolton moved away from the bottom beating West Ham 2-1. Taylor, Davies and Scott Parker the goalscorers.
Stoke and Pompey drew 2-2 in the relegation battle at The Brittania. Boro and Wigan was goalless and Rooney and Ronaldo scored at the OT as United continued their unhindered run to the title, although Rocque Santa Cruz did score against Van Der Saar, the first goal Utd have conceded since 8 November, 2008 when Sir Alex Ferguson's side were beaten by Arsenal. Earlier in that week Man U beat Fulham 3-0, which also counted towards week 28.
On Sunday Liverpool dropped points at home to Citeh. Kuyt getting a late response to Bellamy on his return to Anfield. Newcastle and Everton drew 0-0 and Fulham beat the poor Baggies 2-0. Zamora and Johnson both getting one apiece.
On Monday Spudz got a big win at Hull. Woodgate notching a late winner.
