Sunderland v Blackburn and Spuds and Foolham couldn't pull a cracker between them but Hammers had it away at Fratton Park thrashing poor old Tony Adams' Pompey 4-1. May there are 3 worst teams than West Ham in the division.
Sunday after Christmas
The previously estranged Gallas got the winner for Arsenal against Arsene prodigy Adams at The Emirates, Wigan won again, this time at Bolton. Arteta got two as Ricky Sbraiga's wheels start to come of for Sunderland. Everton won 3-0.
Foolham got another excellent point at home to their "I'm considerably richer than you" neighbours. Blackburn and City share the spoils in a Lancashire derby. The Baggies beat Spurs, who await Redknapp's transfer magic.
West Ham completed a great week beating Stoke 2-1, Cole and Tristan scoring and Liverpool look the real deal as they go into 2009 league leaders thrashing Newcastle 5-1 at St James. Gerrard scoring twice before he goes out and clumps a Man U fan.

Man U beat Boro with a Berbatov strike and then the next day Hull lose again as Villa go 4th after a late og from Zayatte.
