Blimey, they are dropping like flies. Reg Gutteridge has died after a short illness aged 84. Along with Harry Carpenter, it was Reg with Jim Watt ringside who often brought boxing into our living rooms on the big fight nights originally on ITV, and then on Sky. Reg also covered 6 Olympic Games and I remember him covering the greyhounds too. Once watching him at Catford in my youth.Obituary in The Telegraph.
