Road to Wembley - Magpies staffed

A goal at either end of the Cup replay from LIAM MURRAY booked Stafford Rangers a place in the FA Cup Second Round in front of a bumper crowd of 1,934 at York Road last week.

Maidenhead will rue a great chance to get back in the game in the 26th minute when a Craig O'Connor penalty rattled the crossbar and rebounded to safety.

Stafford Rangers in good old Stoke-on-Trent become our team and will take on Francey & Paul Long's beloved Brighton tomorrow in the 2nd Round at The Withdean. All tickets have sold out.

Rangers play in the Conference, two divisions below Brighton and are currently in midtable. This is a little bit about them:

- Formed in 1876
- They won the Nationwide Northern league last year to win promotion
- They have played at Marston Road for over 100 years
- Manager Phil Robinson played 400 league games for Aston Villa and Wolves amongst overs
- Assistant manager is ex Luton & Leicester midfielder David Oldfield
- They average about 1,500 at home, about the same as Brighton!
- Oh and these are their colours:
