Thank you

This is the emotional bit. It is almost 4,000 miles from Chicago to home and after 20 months, I now own a place here and can call this home as well. It is a nice feeling, let me tell you, to have two homes.

However, what I can never duplicate is my mates and although I have made some fantastic friends here and I like to think they will be my friends forever (they know who they are) it is not easy to take the place of you lot, some of you, I have known for 10, 15, 20 years.

This, as I have said before, is like a small jar of marmite, or a decent pot of tea. The N&R FL is a piece of home and without you lot it wouldn't exist.

Thank you for reading my old bollocks I write every week. Thank you for the emails, texts, phone calls and still wanting to see me when I come back to the city and joining me for a pint.

I get back quite a lot, as most of you know, but it ain't easy trying to see as many people as possible but hopefully when we arrange it, I will see most of you at the prize giving piss up and I promise not to be late this time. You're right, some things never change!

A big thank-you also to Mark Simmons because he is the man that makes it all work behind the scenes. Thank-you also to Jonathan Fortune, Blogger and all the American's that give me endless ideas of things to write about.

And finally a big thanks to Ready, and others who regularly keep in contact you are all fucking good mates.

Laters
Nobby
